Terms and Conditions

This page contains Feather Baby’s terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing an order. Please understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the information below.

The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order.

SHIPPING POLICY:

Shipping costs are confirmed at checkout. We don't add a mark-up to our cost of shipping, only charging you exactly what the carrier charges us.

For customers outside the U.S., please note local charges may occur after checkout,  including additional taxes and duties. Such charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

SHIPPING RATES: Feather Baby currently offers free shipping via USPS (regular mail) within the U.S. for orders over $19. For shipments under 16 ounces, the mail service is First Class Mail, which is not trackable on the USPS website. For shipments over 16 ounces, the mail service is Priority Mail, which is trackable.

The USPS offers very reliable service and regular mail service typically takes 3 days. We ship out of Atlanta where First Class mail service to the West Coast can take up to 4 days, more for Hawaii and Alaska. During the busy holiday season, the USPS occasionally will run slower. If your purchase is urgent, please choose Priority 2-Day.


ESTIMATED FULFILLMENT TIME: All orders ship within 24 hours and most orders ship the same day.  For Priority Mail and UPS, we must receive your order by 2 PM US EST Monday through Friday to meet the carrier’s cut-off time.  For orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or national holidays requiring expedited shipping, we cannot guarantee your package will arrive on time.  It will ship on the next business day. If you have any special shipping instructions or requests, be sure to email them immediately, along with your order number, to hello@featherbaby.com.

Items may be restocked or further marked down during the sale. Refunds will not be issued for purchases made before a restock or further markdown.

ORDER EDITING/CANCELLATION:

To cancel or edit your order, please send an email to hello@featherbaby.com and include your order number.  Because we process most orders on the same day, it’s not always possible to cancel an order. We do, however, offer free returns.

 

We process returns within 1 week of receiving the package. Please hold onto the tracking information of your returned package. 

International Returns: The customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping.

Clearance and sale items are considered FINAL SALE upon payment and are not eligible for cancellation, return, refund or exchange.

If you purchased from your local boutique or Amazon, or if you received a gift that wasn’t purchased directly from Feather Baby, then you must return the product to that store, according to their return/exchange policy. 

In the event a product is sold out, Feather Baby has the right to refund the item and ship the remainder of the order.  If the entire order is sold out, Feather Baby has the right to cancel the order and refund the amount paid.

DAMAGE/DEFECTIVE:

If your item arrived damaged or became defective due to a manufacturer’s defect within 6 months from the date of purchase, we will gladly help you replace the item. Please email a picture of the defect and your order number to hello@featherbaby.com.

FABRIC DISCLAIMER AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:

Feather Baby fabrics are 100% Pima cotton and we guarantee all products to be free of manufacturer defects for 6 months from the purchase date. This guarantee applies to the original purchaser only and does not include normal wear and tear, buttons falling off, fabric thinning, or damage to the material from outside forces. Please contact hello@featherbaby.com if you believe you have received a defective product.

Our special Pima cotton will hold up fine to typical washing and drying. We have two simple suggestions:

  • Don’t use bleach.
  • Be careful overdrying the garment. 

All cotton, including Pima, will shrink about 10% the first time it’s washed and dried.  For this reason, we recommend you read our size charts carefully. For each style, we display specific measurements for each size, for a brand new, unwashed garment.

Feather Baby is not responsible for damages that may occur during your wash routine and/or stain treatment. The use of chemical treatments, stain pens, tough scrubbing, etc. may weaken/discolor/damage the fabric and is not considered a manufacturer defect covered under our replacement warranty.

Feather Baby reserves the right to amend any information, including, but not limited to, prices, technical specifications, terms of purchase, and product offerings without prior notice.

Feather Baby is not responsible for any injuries or death that may occur while using any of our products. Please use common sense before and while using any of our products. If you see any defects or abnormal wear and tear, please inform us immediately at hello@featherbaby.com.  Feather Baby is currently compliant with The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA)
