Shipping + Delivery
Shipping costs are confirmed at checkout. We don't add a mark-up to our cost of shipping, only charging you exactly what the carrier charges us.
Feather Baby currently offers free shipping via US Postal Service within the U.S. for orders of $75 or more.
The USPS offers very reliable service and regular mail service typically takes 3 days. We ship out of Atlanta where First Class mail service to the West Coast can take up to 4 days, more for Hawaii and Alaska. During the busy holiday season, the USPS occasionally will run slower. If your purchase is time-sensitive, please choose Priority 2-Day. It's worth a few extra bucks.
ESTIMATED FULFILLMENT TIME
All orders ship within 24 hours and most orders ship the same day. For Priority Mail and UPS, we must receive your order by 3 PM US EST Monday through Friday to meet the carrier’s cut-off time. For orders placed on Saturdays, the cut-off time is 12 noon.
On Sundays and national holidays, for orders that require requiring expedited shipping, we cannot guarantee your package will arrive on time. It will ship on the next business day. If you have any special shipping instructions or requests, be sure to email them immediately, along with your order number, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
CHANGING A SHIPPING ADDRESS
Please be sure to verify the shipping address on the order confirmation we sent you. Understanding that online shoppers get a lot of email confirmations, we know it's easy to ignore them. But the shipping address you enter is very important and impossible for us to change after the package goes out the door. Because we ship orders as quickly as possible, often within just a few hours, if the address is wrong, we can't be held responsible. Most orders ship via U.S. Postal and they don't allow a sender to reroute a package.
Because the post office doesn't require a signature on first-class mail, the postal carrier usually just drops the package in your mailbox if it fits—and it usually does. Cute little baby clothes are pretty small!
From time to time, the USPS will identify a package as delivered before you actually receive it. If your package is missing but the tracking number indicates it was delivered already, please wait a day or two and see if it shows up. They almost always do.
